At least it feels that way... Most of the node sites are no longer working and I don't get any new search results. Have any of you guys and gals the same problem as me (regardning the last part)?
No. It's still working fine for me and I just downloaded some new stuff last night.
Addition: I have heard more than a few people mention this and it seems to be increasing. Just to check something, under your info tab do you see a lot of connection and request errors?

No problems over here. In the last 10 hours, only 215 request connection errors (and 5000+ connection errors out of 15K+ connections). Most of the time Share does not download nothing, but sometimes i'm lucky :)
Patience is the key here. Of course that you will need to refresh your nodes.txt with fresh nodes if you haven't run Share in a long time. For now, use these node lists, and you will be fine:

Sadly, NextP2P shutdown very recently, taking down an excellent nodelist :( So these four lists should be enough until Perfect Dark gets an english translation, or Share gets an update.
So is share dead? Is everyone migrating to Perfect Dark? One thing I'm going to miss is Triggers if that's the case.

Yeah, but it requires for you to have at least 40GB cache (unity) to dl stuff ammrite? Then it sits there in fucking sleep status. I have 100.GIG HD and only 30.GIGS left; can't really have that useless shit sitting on my HD. I only dl 2 small files from PD so far.
Whack. I use to have problems using PD and shareEX2 but after all the lurking i got it to work. I just wish PD didn't require for you to have tremendous cache to download stuff. I have about 2GIGS of cache and shit never downloads. Oh well
You are wrong sir, I have perfect dark with a fine download speed AND I DONT have 40 GB cache! Rather I think if you have a slow Interent connection it won't work (Or it will claim a port issue)
My unity size is 3GB (and i had to enlage it manually by sharing a bunch of files), but i can download with that. The problem is the long wait on queues... even with popular files.
My upload is pretty slow (128Kbps), but i think that it has litte effect on downloads... because when i had a faster upload (512Kbps), the wait times were the same...
Cache/unity has nothing to do with download speeds, everything it's on the network implementation, and AFAIK, PD implementation is quite inefficient... for now. Also remember that foreign (READ: non-japanese) nodes ALWAYS will be the last link on the distribution chain, so expect even more waits...

A friend of mine who is on Hokkaido says that his Download speed is very slow and he has to wait. When Perfect Dark connects to a file I can download it with about 250 kbs, Also I checked my Port here http://p2p-db.net/port.php (Sorry its Japanese). I have to agree though that Share still is faster.
Share is working still great...sometimes its hard to connect, but it still does...
