Perfect Dark and Winny do not start (3)

Perfect Dark and Winny do not start at all. I have Win-XP SP2 running. I guess there are general files for the gui missing in my windows installation. Can anybody help me with that?

What error do you get? Missing DLLs? (PD requires msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll)

Or they simply do nothing and die? It's a really weird issue then. Also check your PC for virus...

Thanks for the help, but pc is clean, dlls are installed - they just die without even appear in the taskmanager...
